Victorian villa renovation in Leeds – as seen on George Clarke’s ‘Old House, New Home!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Charlie and Jawad, a lovely couple from Leeds who bought a Victorian villa and decided to renovate their two bedrooms into a luxurious master ensuite. The project results were simply stunning with the renovation being featured in George Clarke’s ‘Old House New Home’ on Channel 4!

The couple started the renovations three years ago and we had previously completed work in their guest bedroom by creating and installing a bespoke architrave for the window. Having worked with us in the past, they contacted us once again for another collaboration – this time for these two bedrooms to be transformed into a grand master bedroom ensuite.

The two bedrooms featured Victorian cornices, however, due to the lack of insulation in both rooms, the original cornicing was completely removed and new cornices were handcrafted in our workshop to match the previous authentic Victorian style. In addition, the couple decided to install two lavish ceiling roses of our CP74 “Louis” Victorian ceiling rose, with one of them being placed right above their new sumptuous brass freestanding bath in the centre of the room – a unique feature adding to the eccentric decor of the house.

All plasterwork was handcrafted in our workshop and installed in the house by our experienced crew. The results are nothing short of breathtaking and Jawad himself commented on how the Louis ceiling rose is one of his favourite things to look at in the room.

We’d like to personally thank Jawad and Charlie for once again trusting us, Amazing Productions for their support throughout the filming and Mr. George Clark for his kind words on our craftsmanship and how beautifully the cornices were recreated.
